As we embrace 2025, the world of interior design is continuing to evolve, bringing forth fresh ideas and inspiring aesthetics that redefine luxury living.

I believe that a well-designed space should reflect the individuality of its occupants while enhancing their daily experiences. I draw inspiration from both timeless design elements and modern innovations to create spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional.

When I started Savvy Giving by Design Virginia, it was because I believed every home should be a sanctuary, especially for families facing tough times. We were deeply honored by a recent article in The Winchester Star about how Savvy Giving VA was able to help the Scheutzow family and their brave son, Gideon.

My clients were ready to embrace a more relaxing lifestyle that reflects who they are today.  They purchased a secluded home outside the city in the perfect location for them.  However, the design of the home needed to be completely overhauled to make it their own.  

With remote working on the rise, people who work from home need a comfortable, dedicated space to focus.  My clients for this project had a boring, boxy room in their house that wasn’t being used.  Now that they’re spending more time at home, they wanted to turn it into a functional and inviting office space to support their lifestyle.

For many people, the kitchen is the most important room in the house.  It’s the central hub for preparing meals, connecting with family, and entertaining guests.
